About Us
The group was formed in 2002 when practitioners throughout NI came together to discuss how resources, expertise and experience could be combined to improve levels of public sector health and safety.
Through communication and co-operation the group has combined resources in areas such as risk assessments, policies and codes of practice, training, videos, and benchmarking.
This provides support for less developed and/or less well resourced authorities, and has raised overall standards and awareness.
LASAN intends to continue with this unified approach, to further develop partnerships, and to promote continual improvement.
